MESAP INTERNATIONALIZATION ACTIVITIES

IoT4Industry project in its final stages

149 proposals received, 40 funded projects, 82 SMEs, 16 industrial sectors and 18 countries involved. These are some of the numbers of IoT4Industry, a European project that, since 2018, has provided €4 million to support European SMEs in the development of projects for the implementation and testing of IoT technologies in the production cycle. The project was defined among the 20 best performing Innosup initiatives and awarded as the best “European Cluster Partnership of the Year” during the European Cluster Conference 2020. Italy is among the most participating countries and 5 of the funded projects include MESAP members in the partnership, among which we mention Astel, Eurodies and Novasis Innovazione. MESAP was the National Contact Point for the project as well as managing partner of the Innovation Vouchers and of the communication and dissemination activities.

Boost4BSO project

The Boost4BSO Interreg Central Europe project, which started in April 2020, aims to create a “toolbox” for BSOs to support companies in their digital transformation journey. The meetings held in recent months were an opportunity to illustrate the opportunities and barriers that SMEs encounter in this process and to talk together about servitization, the process by which a company that produces and sells goods or products transforms them into services for the market.
