FIT4FoF: The story of the pilot action with our member MTS

The Italian pilot action dedicated to our member MTS Srl – Meccanica Tonel Sergio and in collaboration with colleagues from UCN – University College of Northern Denmark took place between March and April. What happened? Through the co-design methodology called ICoED – Industrial Collaborative Educational Design, we carried out 3 workshops, divided into 8 steps, which led to the definition of an ad hoc training plan for MTS in response to its upskilling needs towards industry 4.0.

Here is a short excerpt from the interview with MTS:

“The ICoED approach covers all aspects that must be considered in the design of the training, the experience has been extremely innovative and useful to the point that MTS expresses the desire to use it in the future. The applied methodology made it possible to identify the requirements, skills and professional profiles, developing a unique and transferable training, placing the participants at the center of the training project, allowing employees to participate in the planning and allowing them to adapt to new professional requirements and skills that digitalization and automation are introducing in production “.

We are excited about this result, but it doesn’t end there! The replication phase will start soon and we are looking for companies interested in taking part! For more information write to f.fallarini@mesap.it
