Below are some of the main internationalization activities that Mesap is following for its members.

 

Trademark Smart Systems Integrated®

Smart Systems Integrated® is a Collective European Union trademark, owned by EPoSS and managed by Mesap, which is issued to products, prototypes and demonstrators as part of Smart Systems Integration. Mesap promotes the use of the trademark as a strategic tool to strengthen visibility and competitive positioning of Smart products and prototypes in major international markets.

 “MiSSIon Smart Systems” – EPoSS Annual Forum 2019

Mesap will participate in the EPoSS Annual Forum 2019 on 16 and 17 October  (San Sebastian, Spain) organized by EPoSS – the European Technology Platform on Smart Systems Integration. The key theme of the forum will be the automated and sustainable production of Smart Integrated Systems. The event will be hosted and co-organised by the IK4 Research Alliance, member of EPoSS, represented by Ikerlan.

The #neverstoplearning Tour across Europe

Mesap is engaged in a series of study visits in Europe with the DIA – European Digital Industry Alliance project, the COSME initiative born in 2017 to develop an internationalization strategy for SMEs focused on the Digital Industry. After the stops at the prestigious RWTH Aachen Campus (Aachen) and the participation in the DIGIMEET 2019 in Eskiltsuna (Sweden) at the end of October will be the turn of the IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona (29-31 October 2019), one of the most important events dedicated to IoT solutions. Mesap will play the role of Ambassador Cluster and on 29 October will animate a round table entitled “Digital Industry: disruptive solutions to shape the future of SMEs” in cooperation with the project Cyber Secure Light.

The first 5E workshop in Helsinki

Setting up the Vision for European Electronics Ecosystems Convergence”.
Mesap, as a partner of the 5E project, invites you to participate in the first workshop of the project dedicated to defining future strategies and opportunities in the field of the 3 European Electronic Ecosystems in nanoelectronics, flexible & wearable electronics and electronic smart systems.  The workshop will be held on 21 November 2019 on the occasion of EFECS 2019, the European forum dedicated to electronics.

The Second call of the IoT4Industry project – Results 

The second call of the IoT4Industry, a European project within Horizon 2020 dedicated to SMEs in the field of Internet of Things and of which Mesap is a partner, closed on 11 June 2019. The second call for proposals, worth about 1.7 million Euros, saw the submission of 96 proposals (+80% compared to the first call), 16 of which were funded.
