Mesap goes to Europe #3!

MESAP Internationalization activities

MESAP is partner of the E2DRIVER project

E2DRIVER is a project dedicated to training on energy audits in the automotive sector.  The project aims to develop an energy efficiency training platform dedicated to SMEs to make them aware of the multiple benefits of carrying out accurate energy audits, providing them with the necessary skills and information to implement their recommendations.

MESAP has identified 3 Italian pilot companies that will receive free training from a team of experts in order to develop concrete actions to achieve tangible energy, economic and environmental savings.

Is your company energetic and part of the automotive sector? Contact us by writing to p.dondo@advisor.mesap.it and visit the dedicated website www.e2driver.eu.

Project 5E – Towards the definition of a Joint Vision in the electronic domain

5E is a project that supports the European electronics industry in identifying opportunities for federating electronic ecosystems in nanoelectronics, flexible & wearable electronics and electronic smart systems.

The project will develop a Joint Vision based on the identification of cross-fertilization and collaboration activities between the three electronic ecosystems involved.  In order to identify the most relevant opportunities, more than 150 experts, coming from the 3 electronic areas, have been currently involved in the project and cross-fertilization activities – such as surveys and workshops – have been launched, leading to the definition of 10 opportunities, defined Grey Spots by the project.

Projects funded by IoT4Industry

IoT4Industry is a project dedicated to SMEs that provides almost €4 million in the form of vouchers for feasibility studies, prototypes, demonstrators and pilot projects for the Internet of Things in the field of manufacturing.

The first call of about 2 million Euros closed in 2018 with 24 funded projects, 7 of which were Italian, while the second call of about 1.7 million Euros closed in summer 2019 with 16 winning projects, 3 of which involve Italian companies.

The calls for proposals closed, but the project progress is continuing.  To find out more details about IoT4Industry and the funded projects visit the website or visit us in Hannover Messe 2020 (20-24 April 2020) at Wallonia Booth – Hall 8, Stand 22.

Mesap partner of the Boost4BSO project

Boost4BSO is an Interreg Central Europe initiative that will officially start on 1 April 2020 to improve the development and transfer of knowledge between BSO – Business Supporting Organisation – Central Europe. The consortium, composed of 8 partners, will develop a comprehensive BSO skills package and an implementation toolbox to support local SMEs in their transformation to Industry 4.0.

The initiative is part of the MESAP’s strategy to accompany SMEs in the digital transformation and to develop partnerships with Central and Eastern Europe to assume an increasingly strategic role at international level.

The Smart Systems Integrated® Trademark

EPoSS has reconfirmed at MESAP the three year position as the Organising Body of the Collective European Union Trademark SSI.

The trademark represents a strategic and valuable tool to strengthen the visibility and competitive positioning of Smart products on major international markets. In the last year we have participated in countless events of international importance, offering spaces and moments dedicated to companies whose products have received the trademark. Among the various events are EFECS 2019 – European Forum for Electronic Components and Systems, EPoSS Annual Forum 2019, IoT Solutions World Congress 2019, ECS Brokerage Event 2020.

The label can be awarded to products, prototypes and demonstrators in the context of Smart Systems Integration following a technical evaluation. For more information visit www.ssi-trademark.org.

DIA is over! Here is what has happened in these 2 years

DIA – European Digital Industry Alliance represents a COSME initiative created in 2017 to develop an internationalisation strategy for SMEs focused on the Digital Industry. During the project a sample of companies belonging to the 6 clusters involved were interviewed to understand the degree of digitization and analyze their difficulties in this transition phase. In itinere we proceeded with benchmarking activities that identified in the USA, China and Brazil the target countries where to exchange technologies and products of Made In Europe companies (global megatrends in the ICT), to which Morocco and Mexico were added.

DIA2, currently under evaluation, aims to translate into concrete actions the will of the companies identified in these first 2 years of the Alliance.
